Solid-Solid Separation

Solid-solid separation equipment classifies or separates bulk materials based on size, density, or aerodynamic properties. Systems like density separators, tumbling screens, and air classifiers are used to obtain uniform fractions, remove impurities, or recover valuable material. These operations are common in minerals, agriculture, chemicals, and recycling, where product quality and process efficiency depend on effective particle separation.

Density Separators (Separators by Weight)

Gravity separators exploit differences in particle density to separate mixed materials by airflow, vibration, and inclined decks. They are used in seed cleaning, minerals, plastics, and recycling, achieving precise separation of light vs. heavy fractions with minimal contamination.

Tumbling Screens

Tumbling screens are rotating cylindrical sieves that separate material by size classification. They provide gentle screening with low dust generation, making them suitable for fertilizers, minerals, biomass, and recyclables. Their scalable design allows both fine and coarse screening. Those are the most accurate screening machines, producing less than  5% undersize fraction in the target one.

Air Classifiers

Air classifiers use a high-velocity air stream to separate particles based on size, shape, and density. They deliver precise, continuous classification for powders in chemicals, minerals, cement, and food industries, ensuring tight product specifications and energy efficiency.
